Throw Throw Burrito

What's in the box? Card Game

3... 2... 1... Burrito!

It's time for the first Whats-In-The-Box! I'm so excited to unbox and play this new game for the first time. The best part is I am showing you too.

Throw Throw Burrito is a card game with a side of throwing burritos at others (that also means you will spend some time dodging them). Now lets open this box!

What's in the box?

Well first off look how neatly packed this is.

This box contains:

- Two squishy burritos (Look at their adorable faces)

- 1 FEAR ME Badge (I am so scared now)

- 120 cards

Some are cute like this:

Or special burrito cards like this:

- 1 rulebook

The time needed to read the rules: 5min:36sec. The rules are straight forward and clear. there is also a video(4min:41sec) about the rules available.

I won't be posting the gameplay today as there will be a full review of this game after we had enough time to enjoy it.

The overall quality of the game is high. The burritos are very nice and squishy, the cards are matte and non-slippy when held, they do glide off the table if one isn't careful.

The First Game

Because I bought this game alone I didn't play the first game with my co-writer Patrick but with my younger brother. This is how the first game went down.

So first we set the game up like this

first game set up

Then we started playing. As this is the first game the cards weren't properly shuffled yet. So the first burrito brawl was upon us within the first few minutes. I won that round and he got a burrito bruise. After that, he had a couple of other burrito cards and he managed to hit me, my brother is a fearsome burrito dueler. He won the FEAR ME Badge for the first round as he only collected the burrito cards and not the regular cards. I won the second round which meant that we had to do another burrito duel to decide the winner, sadly he won.

I think he won because he collected the more difficult to get but higher value cards instead of collecting what is easiest. It's a risk but clearly it paid off. I can't wait to play this game more and with more people!

I hope to see you soon with a full review.

Happy Playing!
